West Valley School District would like to CONGRATULATE Kara Carlson, a recent recipient of the ABOVE AND BEYOND Award. Heidi West, Kitchen Manage at Pasadena nominated Kara. Kara has helped them in many ways and always says YES to their needs. She has taken the time to write several Grants that in turn have benefitted the Nutrition Department and is constantly going above and beyond to support the entire program as well as the District. Pasadena custodian, AJ Barnett was a recent recipient of the WVSD Above and Beyond Award. Principal Brad Liberg nominated AJ, saying that the recent parking lot renovations impacted AJ's daily work, but he was able to greatly assist the contractors due to his wealth of knowledge about the building and property. AJ also helps organize and monitor 5 different lunches as well as a very busy building and its needs. Thank you AJ! Congratulations!
