Inclement Weather Procedure

If a delay or closure is necessary on Thursday, January 19, our emergency call notification system will be activated, a notice will be posted here and on our social media sites as well as announcements made on television and radio. If no call is made and no announcements and posts are created, school will resume on the normal schedule. Thank you for your patience with the school closure today. Please be safe on the roads.

West Valley Schools now CLOSED

Due to worsening road conditions all West Valley Schools are closing today, January 18, 2017. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.

2 hour late start today

Due to weather conditions today, January 18, 2017, all schools will start 2 hours late. Busses will also be 2 hours late. DHHS and ELC morning classes are cancelled.

Severe weather expected

The national weather center is forecasting severe weather overnight for the Spokane Region. West Valley will follow our inclement weather preparedness procedures (see posting below) in the case of severe weather. Notification of a disruption in the normal school schedule will be posted to this website, Facebook, Twitter and on local television and radio stations.
