STUDENT PASSWORDS - current as of 8/25/2023
 
Access to student Google accounts and Skyward are now one in the same.  If you can't remember your West Valley School District username and password; please contact the Technology Department to reset the password.

STAFF PASSWORDS - current as of 8/25/2023
 
Staff passwords are now managed by a Microsoft Windows utility called Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).  Staff no longer can change their Skyward passwords as authentication into Skyward is now handled with the SSPR and Google.  The idea behind this update is to allow staff to change or update their own passwords at anytime without the intervention of school administration.  Also, password changes take effect immediately versus our old system that only ran once an hour.
 
TWO SITUATIONS...
1. You know your current password and want to change it --> start here
  • The link above goes to a Microsoft site...use your West Valley email address and known password to sign in.
  • You will be prompted to set up proof of your identity (call, text, alternate email or security questions)
  • Once the security/proof of identity is complete you can reset & manage your own password 
2. You can't remember your current password and need help to change it --> Contact Tech
