Coach Carlon honored

Longtime WVHS basketball coach Lorin Carlon was honored Thursday during senior night festivities. The beloved coach has lead the Lady Eags for the past 13 years and will retire at the end of the season. Click to read more.

Lilac Royalty

Congratulations to WVHS's Aili Jones who was selected to the Spokane Lilac Royalty Court. Among other duties, Miss Jones will represent West Valley in the Torchlight Parade May 21, 2016.

Snow day February 12

The WVSD calendar has a built in snow day on February 12, 2016. If there is no significant weather event forcing school to be closed before then, there will not be school on February 12. In addition, there will not be school on February 15 in observance of Presidents Day. Enjoy the 4 day weekend!

OLC Open House

The West Valley Outdoor Learning Center is hosting an Open House from 10 - 2 p.m. on Saturday at 8706 E Upriver Dr. All welcome.

SVHS hosts Project event

Spokane Valley High School students present "Imagine, Believe and Achieve" a student project exhibition. Mark you calendar to attend this school-wide event on January 29, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hutton Settlement, 9907 E Wellesley.

Board votes on K - 3 classroom funding
