Skyward/Qmlativ Migration
What is Skyward Qmlativ?
Qmlativ is the next generation of Skyward SMS, our student information system. The upgrade version offers a more user-friendly design and easy-to-navigate interfact. This move promises enhanced functionality across key areas of student information, payroll, finance and human resources. As with any major technology upgrade, there will be obstacles along the way. Your patience and flexibility are appreciated as we all endure the growing pains before experiencing the benefits that will come with Qmlativ. This project represents a significant undertaking for our district. Since March 2024, departments including the Skyward Analyst, Business Office, Information Technology, and Human Resources have been involved in the planning and implementation stages. This includes meticulous migration planning, data refinement, and configuring training access to the Knowledge Hub Professional Development Center (PDC), and user security access.
How to log into the new Skyward/Qmlativ
The link has changed for families to log into Skyward. In order to log into the correct system, go to wvsd.org and click on the Skyward logo in the upper, right-hand corner. Or use the browser on your phone and go to wvsd.org where you will see the Skyward logo under the West Valley logo. Your user name and password did not change in the migration. If you need to reset your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the Skyward log-in page by accessing it through the Skyward on our website.
At this point in time, the Skyward app is experiencing some difficulties so we recommend you follow the instructions above. If you wish to use the app, you will need to delete and then reinstall the app and log in with your information in order to access the Qmlativ version.
