Registration Timeline: Registration for the 2025-26 school year closes August 13th. To ride the bus on the first day of school, students must be registered by August 13th. 

 

How to Register: Click on REGISTER TO RIDE 2025-26 above to register early. Official communications (e.g. registration confirmation, bussing details, etc.) will be sent via ParentSquare and email. 

 

Who Needs to Register: All families* must register if they want to use the school bus during the 2025-26 school year even if their student(s) rode the bus in previous school years.

 

*Please note that families enrolled in any Special Programs (Special Education, Early Learning Center, or HEART/McKinney-Vento) do not need to register using this process. Transportation Department staff will contact existing families to confirm their transportation needs for next school year and NEW families should reach out to their school for more information. 

 

Grade-Based Registration Info: Incoming Kindergarten, 1st, City School 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, & 12th graders will be UNREGISTERED by default. Juniors (11th) & Seniors (12th) should only register if they plan to ride regularly.  

Riding the Bus with Friends: Students may not ride home with friends, even with parent/guardian permission. If you have a unique situation that requires your student to ride home with a different student, please contact the Transportation Department by phone or email before 2:00PM (1:00PM for high school students), or as soon as you're able, to discuss an exception.
