Summer School 2018

Statewide legislative changes have caused uncertainty in school funding, therefore a limited summer school offering will be available this year.

STEM Summer Camp

WVSD will be hosting our 2nd annual STEM Camp for in-district students entering grades 1-6. Camp will run from June 18 - 21, 2018. Registration deadline is May 4.

District Safety

Safety forum held on Monday.

An overview of district safety systems will be held Tuesday, April 24, from 6:30 -7:30 at Centennial Middle School. Attendees will have an opportunity to give input on what safety measures are most important to them.

Skyward Down

The Skyward Student Information System, as well as the Fiscal System is down across the region. This means no access to student data or the ability to pay on-line for meals. Hopefully the system will be available on Wednesday, April 25.

West Valley is hosting a Safety and Communications event for parents, students, and staff. Please join us April 23, for the elementary overview, or April 24, for middle and high school, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Middle School, 915 N. Ella.

Minor Bus Accident

WVSD school bus

A West Valley school bus carrying 18 kindergarten students was in a minor accident Friday afternoon. Students, the bus driver, and the driver of the other vehicle were assessed by medical personnel and thankfully there were no serious injuries.

Free Craft Fair

WVHS is hosting their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, April 21. More than 70 vendors will participate and the event is free.
