Photography Class Opportunity

WVHS students had a rare opportunity to photograph birds of prey under studio lights. West Valley Outdoor Learning Center staff brought the birds to Mr. Linton's photography class recently for a special photo session.

Kindergarten Registration Begins March 1

Kindergarten enrollment packets for the 2019-2020 school year are now available at Millwood Kindergarten Center, 8818 E. Grace. Students must be five years old by August 31, 2019, in order to enroll.

Cold Weather Guidelines


With cold weather periodically coming into our area during the winter season, we have had many inquiries as to what our guidelines are when it comes to making decisions about outdoor recess.

Inclement Weather Procedure

This time of year weather conditions may cause a change in the regular school day. We have a process in place to make weather related decisions about a delayed start or cancellation of the regular day. If this is necessary, we will activate our emergency telephone and text message system to notify families.

Energy Pathways Experience

Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend Energy Pathways - a free four week hands-on immersion experience developing knowledge, skills and abilities fundamental for a career in energy.

Snow Make-Up Day Friday

Friday, February 15 will be used as a snow make-up day and school will be in session. All West Valley schools will be on a regular schedule.
