City School Students Make A Difference

More than 50 City School students volunteered in a shoreline restoration project recently. As part of their community outreach program, the enthusiastic middle school students planted trees, cleaned up along the river and and were taught a botany lesson.

Interactive Crisis Training For Parents/Guardians

WVSD parents and guardians are invited to attend an educational training called Surviving the Active Lethal Threat. This adult only event will bring heightened awareness and knowledge on how to prepare for, and respond to, an active lethal threat event at your student's school. Join presenter Jesus Villahermosa on November 27, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the theater at WVHS.

Early Release for Thanksgiving Holiday

Thanksgiving Holiday begins Wednesday, November 21, 2018, as an early release day for West Valley students. School will resume at regular hours on Monday, November 26.

Veterans' Day Invitation

The community is invited to attend the annual West Valley High School Veterans' Day assembly on Friday, Nov. 9, from 9:45 to 10:40 a.m. in the main events gym. A student-hosted reception will be held after the assembly for all community veterans.

The WVHS Cross Country team competes in the State Tournament Saturday, Nov 3, in Pasco. The WVHS Football team continues their quest for state in a playoff game Friday, Nov. 2nd at WVHS. Good luck to all athletes!
