Regular hours for school today

There is no delay in school today, Friday, January 18. Our message system is still delivering emails from yesterdays notice. Sorry for the confusion.

2 Hour Delay today

Due to freezing rain and icy conditions, all West Valley schools are on a 2 hour delay today, January 17, 2019. Each bus will be 2 hours late.

Hamm receives Above and Beyond award

West Valley City School Instructor Nick Hamm was presented the district Above and Beyond Award at a recent school board meeting. Principal Dusty Andres shared that Nick is an innovative staff member with creative ideas for curriculum delivery who enjoys engaging his students in community projects.

OLC Awarded Hagan Grant

Congratulations to Outdoor Learning Center Director Jami Ostby Marsh who recently received word that she was granted $12,000 from the Hagan Foundation to fund the Project NEST program. She will work in partnership with the Hutton Settlement on Project NEST, which is a program to create a Nature Therapy Garden.

Congratulations to CMS Head Secretary Linda Curtis on receiving the Above and Beyond Award at a recent school board meeting. Principal Karen Bromps and Gear Up Director Rosalie Sigler nominated her for the award.
