Community Blood Drive

West Valley High School is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 19, 8:00 - 12:00 at 8301 E. Buckeye. The community is invited to donate.

Successful Band Competition Season

WVHS band

WVHS Marching Band and Color Guard, under the direction of Jim Loucks, finished their competition season on a high note. They placed 3rd at the Harvest Festival in Yakima, 2nd at the Puget Sound Festival of Bands, and 1st in the Pacific NW Marching Band Championships. Congratulations musicians!

CMS Honors Veterans

CMS band

Centennial Middle School hosted a Veteran's Day assembly complete with student honor guard, Wind Ensemble under the direction of Kyle Bosch, and strings and choir under the direction of Brian Vaughn. Science Teacher and Air Force Veteran Heather Wright was the program MC and the keynote speaker was former Vice Principal Michael Robinson. The entire student body paid tribute to all veterans in attendance.

West Valley schools will be closed Monday, November 11, 2019, in observance of Veteran's Day. Thank you veterans and all members of the armed forces for your service to our country.
