Students attend HOSA State

WVHS Students at State

WVHS students participated in the first HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) state competition to compete in various events related to allied health careers. Great job Eagles!

Active Shooter Survival Training

Spokane County Sheriff's logo

Spokane County Sheriff's office will present an Active Shooter Survival Training Seminar free to West Valley parents and community. The training will be held at WVHS on April 10 from 6:30 to 8:00.

Robotics Competition Comes To WVHS

The Washington First Robotics District Event for the Eastern Washington Region will be held at WVHS March 22, 23 and 24th. The community is invited to attend the competition.

Goodwin is WVHS All-State Trumpet Participant

Lily Goodwin, sophomore Trumpet student, participated in the recent 2018 All-State Wind Ensemble in Yakima. She was of one of only eight Trumpeters selected for this prestigious group of high school musicians.

Orchard Center students were the recipients of a Get Lit! Writers-in-Residence Program. Over the course of ten weeks, local author Stephanie Oakes taught poetry to fourth grade students.
