The first day of school is coming up soon!

Many WVSD students start on September 7, while others begin their year on September 12. Schools have differing start dates due to the building's unique program, schedule and/or family conference times.

Enroll now for 2022-23 school year!

In addition to serving families within WVSD boundaries, our district also accepts many students who "choice" into our schools for a variety of reasons. We have online options, project-based programs, and opportunities for full and part-time class schedules. Whatever you desire, enroll now to discover your student's pathway to success!

All WVSD students eligible for free meals

Every West Valley school has qualified to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to each and every student, regardless of the the family's income status! The free meals program is supported by state and federal funding and will continue for the next four years.

Virtual Learning Center accepting new students

Did you know that WVSD’s 100% online program recently qualified to enroll students throughout the state of Washington? So students who live within and outside WVSD boundaries are encouraged to apply and explore their own unique path to learning.

WVSD extends invitation to Millwood Daze

Join with other community members to celebrate Millwood Daze on Saturday, August 27! There are a variety of family-friendly activities including a 5K Family Run/Walk that benefits the West Valley High School cross country team.

Community member invited to LaunchNW Town Hall

LaunchNW invites all members of our community to discuss Spokane’s needs and opportunities to support student and family success at a Community Town Hall on Monday, August 15, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at West Valley High School.
