The West Valley School Board Directors accepted the resignation of Dr. Gene Sementi during their board meeting December 11. Sementi will step down as Superintendent effective June 30, 2020, and begin his retirement.
The board also voted unanimously to appoint current Assistant Superintendent Kyle Rydell as incoming Superintendent.

Severe Weather Procedure

Inclement weather or emergency conditions/events happen from time to time and may force a change in the school day. The district will make every effort to adhere to the established school calendar and bell schedules; however, the safety of students and employees is the highest priority. We have a process in place to make decisions about the school day and communicate this information to parents, students and staff.
