Seth Woodard welcomed former professional baseball player and Florida Marlin's manager Mike Redmond who spoke to the students about the benefits of hard work and determination in school and life. The following day they welcomed guest readers to the school. Local artist Sherry Waldrip, Lilac Festival Princess Alli Jones, KHQ Sportscaster Sam Adams, EWU President Dr. Mary Cullinan and Swoop the mascot as well as players from the Spokane Empire to name a few. The exciting day ended with Book BINGO for students and families. Instructional Coach Gina Behrens spearheaded the very successful 2-day event.
