Winter Storm Warning

We are closely monitoring a storm that is set to hit Spokane Valley this evening around 9pm.  The National Weather service has identified this as a “Winter Storm Warning” in which we could see up to 4-8 inches of snow falling throughout the night and into tomorrow morning.  We will be monitoring the snow and driving our bus routes early tomorrow morning to determine road conditions. If a 2-hour weather delay or school cancellation is required, we will follow the communication protocol, click here to view protocol.

WVSD Cold Weather Guidelines

With cold weather periodically coming into our area during the winter season, we have certain guidelines that help determine if students participate in outdoor recess.
