Employees Honored For Heroism

Fire Chief Collins joined Superintendent Sementi in congratulating the pair for their take-charge actions. During a non-district seminar at WVHS, a community member attending the event had a medical emergency. With the skills learned at the staff-required CPR and AED training, Forkner and Dean sprung to action to begin life saving measures. Chief Collins shared with those attending the award ceremony, "They performed exactly as they are trained to do and we had a positive outcome.  I don't often get to say that."  Congratulations Rita and Jason on this well-deserved award!
