West Valley is participating this fall in the Washington State 2018 Healthy Youth Survey. The survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, and access to school-based services.

PACE World Character Day Events

Ness Elementary held an assembly on World Character Day to dedicate a student Friendship Bench. Students who are feeling alone or looking for a playmate can sit on the bench and other students who notice can approach the lone student and encourage them to play with them.

Students throughout Spokane Valley will participate in PACE World Character Day (WCD) on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. WCD began in 2014 with a world-wide focus on exhibiting good character in our daily life. Several schools are hosting character focused events to commemorate the day.
