Above and Beyond Award Presented To Shea Hansen

West Valley Security Officer Shea Hansen earned the district Above and Beyond award for his heroic lifesaving efforts. Hansen came to the aide of an elementary student who was choking. Hansen, an EMT, knew the exact method to use to dislodge the food. Congratulations, Shea, and thank you!

WVHS will present their spring play The Crucible, under the direction of Delvone Bullis, on May 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10th at 7:00 p.m in the school theater. The community is invited to attend the free performance.

Student Reneece Bailey receives Above and Beyond Award

Dishman Hills High School student Reneece Bailey was honored at a recent school board meeting with the district Above and Beyond Award. Reneece testified at the State Legislature about her experiences as a participant in the Avista Energy Pathways Summer Program in support of legislation to expand Career Connected Learning Opportunities across Washington. Robotics Team Takes on the World

The WVHS Robotics team wrapped up their season with a very impressive finish at the recent World Competition in Dallas. The 19-member Team 2147 (Chuck) competed against the top 400 teams from 40 countries.
