WVSD High School Options

West Valley School District offers three different High School options.

West Valley High School is our largest High School and offers a more traditional High School experience along with athletics and activities.  Students who choose to attend one of our other high schools are welcome to participate in athletics as well as other activities at West Valley High School.

Spokane Valley High School takes a Project-Based Learning approach. Projects are custom designed to maximize engagement and build academic, work and life skills. Students who attend SVHS seek learning that is hands-on, relevant and personally meaningful. Class sizes are smaller and one-on-one connections with teachers help students feel comfortable at school. The Endeavor Program is best suited to full-time students on track for graduation, while the Core and Academy Programs offer part-time options that can increase flexibility, reduce anxiety and allow for credit recovery.

Dishman Hills High School is a tuition-free, public high school located in Spokane Valley.  Teaching and learning is done through a non-traditional school model that empowers students to be successful in all areas of their lives.  DHHS is the oldest non-traditional high school in the Spokane area.  They maintain a small school environment, never exceeding 300 students.  This allows them to keep classes small.  Students who attend DHHS choose to attend an AM or PM session Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  On Wednesdays, students can access school clubs and academic support from 11 am 1 pm.
