Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program

The West Valley School District has opted to operate under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for meal services. CEP is a non-pricing meal service option where schools and school districts that meet certain criteria can offer all students who attend classes on site one full breakfast and one full lunch free of charge each day school is in session.

ALL West Valley Students attending classes on-site are eligible to receive one breakfast and one lunch FREE of charge each school day.

As a CEP District we will no longer be collecting Household Applications for Free/Reduced-Price meals. However, we do request that all households turn in a Family Income Survey. Family Income Surveys are an important part of our program. We request that all families fill out and submit a Family Income Survey during the first month of school or upon enrollment – the information provided on these forms is vital to funding a variety of programs in our district and helps maintain our eligibility to operate under the CEP program.

The Family Income Survey can be completed by clicking HERE.

If your student qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, they may be eligible for decreased/waived fees. West Valley School District Nutrition Services must obtain consent to share this eligibility information with programs. By completing the family income survey above, you will be automatically directed to the Consent to Share form if your student qualifies for free/reduced price meal benefits.
